So there *was* nipple-age
That wasn't a pastie.

So Janet Jackson showed bare, albeit pierced and decorated, nipple during the halftime show. And lots of people are up in arms over it.

Um, so what? The only reason people could even tell is that people have made screen caps and blown up the 'offending' area.

Umm, what'd get me more up in arms, if I were a concerned parent, would be that what is above said breast looks more like a bare skull than an actual human head.

That reminds me a Chicago senator who, in protetsing pornography, had pornographic pics (albeit with the word "censored" embossed over them) on her website.

You can always count on them to bring you the really important news.

Re:

Not really - it was just the first thing that jumped out about that photo. That and 'hey wow, that's a really nice piece of nipple armor!'

It's Jesus, you know. He decided to show himself to people in a way where everyone would watch.

Honestly, the nudity itself doesn't offend me. I've seen tits before (no, not just pics).

*HOWEVER* I think what irritates me is that it shows a lot of arrogance. They placed the NFL in a tough legal position. Leaving that aside, it's a violation of FCC regulations and public decency laws. I feel that exhibitionism in defiance of the law is arrogance. Nobody cares about your political agenda.

Also, it offends me that Justin Timberlake assumes I'm an idiot and that Janet Jackson assumes I want to see her tits. Pentention at its worst.

I hope there are fines involved in this.
