Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars
HOLY SHIT! IT KICKED ASS!

What a fucking incredible story. Why the hell did Sci-Fi ever cancel the series? It is perhaps the best damn sci-fi series ever! Hard call between this and Babylon 5 for me, but I think I'd give the nod to Farscape. Just for the characters.

I got all teary towards the end of Peacekeeper Wars. I can't believe some of the shit they pulled in this miniseries, and it all works, even the punch in the gut.

I am: awed

*grumble*

I damned well hope my UTV picked this up for me. I'm out of the country and so didn't get to watch it. I won't get to see it for another month!

That has to be my all-time favorite series finale. "Sleeping in Light" doesn't even come close to this as a farewell. I really don't think I could compare the two series, though, as they really came from opposite ends of the spectrum AFAIC.

And yeah, it all works, but that punch in the gut fucking hurts.

Chriton is in rare form in that ending rant - just shy of completely fucking cracked. I was impressed, they even managed to have Scorpius look like "Oh, shit - *now* I fucking get it."

Waaaah...

I cried like a little girl. You know why. Why did they have to do it? And the Aeryn/John interaction...was just incredible. When I saw the ads for Battlestar Galactica during the show I'd get mad because they'd pay for that and not stuff like Farscape...

Re: Waaaah...

Yeah, that was harsh, but well handled.

BTW, do I know you? :-)

Re: Waaaah...

Yes, you do. We worked security at AX a few times. :-)
