Rumor has it...
I just heard that Cyphermint went under. I haven't been able to to confirm it yet though. If so, I guess I was laid off at the right time. If I can help anyone find work I will.

CONFIRMED: Cyphermint is closed as of today.

I could say I was surprised, but I'd be totally lying.

Sucks, though. There were mostly good people there...

How long do ya suppose it'll take for their website to reflect that?

Since no one is there to update it, possibly until the servers get turned off, or taken off line anyway. :-)

I was in the office today, I had to take care of some COBRA stuff to make sure I keep health coverage. Today was the day for people to clean out the office, some of the execs are still working to tie up loose ends - like working out what's going to happen with contract commitments to clients, etc. Handling HR related paperwork for everyone (processing unemployment stuff, etc.). Apparently there are some efforts to arrange an 11th hour bailout - well, more like 13th hour now - to possibly keep the handful of revenue generating projects going, maybe a buyout by one of the clients or some investors, etc. So it is possible that Cyphermint may rise from the ashes in some form or another.
