My tweets from the past day...
  • 01:23 @chiieddy Yeah, I'm thinking about an actual dedicated GPS unit. I have Google Maps on my phone. #
  • 05:19 Even later night tonight - as maintenance window in Rockland ended a customer machine in Waltham wedged. So I'm there and not home yet. #
  • 05:19 Everything is working fine now, so I'll be heading home to crash - HARD - very shortly. #

Using LoudTwitter.

Someone just made an RSS feed of Grant Imahara's twitter - http://syndicated.livejournal.com/grantimaharatwt/

Unfortunately, I didn't realize how obnoxious having each individual tweet rendered as an LJ post was going to be. I like your approach using LoudTwitter a lot better.

I just wanted to ask, is there anything special I should know before I go and try to run Grant's tweet feed through LoudTwitter? Any special tricks, or pitfalls you ran into while doing it?

No big hurry on an answer; this is purely recreational.

Never mind!

It was way easier than I expected.

Re: Using LoudTwitter.

I set it up to post via email and this is the text to add at the beginning of a post:
---
lj-userpic: Computer stuff
lj-tags: twitter, tweets
lj-mood: twitterpated
lj-security: public
<lj-raw><lj-cut text="These are my tweets for the past day...">
---

And this is the text to add to the end:
---
<p>Automatically posted by <a href="http://www.loudtwitter.com">LoudTwitter</a>. You can <a href="http://twitter.com/megazone">follow me on Twitter.</a></p>
</lj-cut></lj-raw>
---

That lets you set the tags, etc. If you post directly I don't know that you can set the tags, etc.

But it is generally easy to use.
