It should be OK to just call some days a loss and go home early. I think people would be a lot happier and more productive overall if we could do that. Just say "Fuck it, this day is sucking and I'm done."

Barring that, I could really use a hug. Actually, I could *really* use laying down in a cool, dark room cuddled up with someone I love, and just forgetting the rest of the day.

Yeah, sure.

I am: don't ask

I think, that for those of you who create things for a living, this is true. There are days where the pieces just don't come together and you just wind up having to go back later and rebuild whatever it is. (From my personal experince woodworking, if I'm in a mood like that, I tend to miscut more often, forget where the halfs of an inch go, etc.) Then again, for those of us who don't create things, but help people with the things that you built, or those who sell the things that you built, it's not quite as pressing. There aren't as many of the creative jucies that need to flow in order to say, "yeah, sure, I'll be right down to swap that drive out" or "would you like fries with that?" or "would you like the 6 disc changer in the trunk of that Lexus, sir?"

After today, I don't think it would have to be someone I loved as long as they would just stop arguing.

MSN can bite me

I'm still at work and I'm really hungry...all because of MSN 9's stupid career site redesign. I hate MSN.

On the former: this is one reason I so like working for a University. Technically you're not supposed to do that sort of thing, but I've had days like that and been able to take off without anyone getting upset about it.

I'm not even going to think about the latter or I'll just get depressed.
