I need to pay down my credit cards a lot more before i make another big buy - but my jonze for a better notebook has been getting stronger. And today I found PC Torque - they have some nice models and config options, and the pricing is pretty good. I like that they come with no OS by default. :-)

Posting partly to keep myself from forgetting how to find them. :-)

The past week or so hasn't been all a drag - both FLCL and Boogiepop Phantom are airing, and my TiVo has been grabbing them. I'd never seen the dub of FLCL before - actually I'd only see the whole thing once. On Richard 'Pocky' Kim's laptop at KatsuCon several years ago. The dub is really very good, I'm impressed. And FLCL is such a crazy show, great stuff. Boogiepop Phantom is really weird, and I like how all the little bits are tying together.
