It is 00:31, I'm writing this from a Days Inn hotel room next to the DFW airport. They originally had me booked in coach on a 06:30-or-so flight to Boston, but I got switched to first on a 10:35 flight, so I can get a semi-reasonable amount of sleep and not be crammed into coach - as I was on this leg. Of course, all of my clothes and such are in my checked bag, which I couldn't retrieve tonight. So I get to wear the same stuff tomorrow. At least the hotel gave me a toothbrush. I'm feeling shitty, I can't wait to get home to rest - but if this keeps up I'm going to have to call in sick Wednesday.
09:58 - I bought WiFi access at DFW because it was cheap, and faster than GPRS. My flight leaves at 10:35, and (so far) isn't delayed, so we should be boarding soon. I can't wait to get home, out of these clothes, and into my bed. I thank the Days Inn for the toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant - and I bet whomever is stuck next to me would too, if they knew. I woke up early this morning because it felt like someone was using a hydraulic press to expand my sinus cavities. Sudafed and Excedrin helped with that so far.
I like to be here when I can.
