Gah - still a problem with the RBR store...

I was just pre-ordering Ani DiFranco's new CD when I discovered RBR hasn't fixed the problem with their webstore that I mentioned to them a while back. If you put something in your cart and then go back to continue shopping, there is no way to get back to the cart to check out unless you put something else in your cart! Unless I'm really dense. there is no 'checkout' link. That's very frustrating. Sure, I can put something else in there to get back to the cart and then remove it, but, you know, a lot of people aren't good at thinking laterally. And it shouldn't be necessary to out-smart the shopping cart to buy something!

Oh - and there's more. They send the confirmation email as text/html. ICK! If I hadn't created a new email address just for RBR (I've been getting into the habit of giving every merchant I use a unique address) and had used my standard address I wouldn't've received it since I block most text/html emails since nearly all of them are spam. I've whitelisted a small number of addresses that I just can't get not to send me HTML but that are still useful enough to deal with. But HTML email from shell is annoying even if the mutt/links combo is decent. At least use multipart! *mutter* Maybe I'll complain, but since I've mentioned the checkout issue a couple of times in the past with no results I don't think it is worth it.
