Stock footage gaffs
I'm watching an episode of Columbo off my TiVo (The Most Crucial Game) and they did a little stock footage of LAX, including an undercarriage shot of an aircraft landing.

An aircraft which was quite obviously a B-52. It has an extremely distinctive landing gear configuration.

Such things amuse me.

I am: amused

B-52? At LAX? Seems odd seeing as Edwards is right over the horizon. Can't fathom why one would land there unless it were an IFE. :P

Still no word for PMX *nervous*

Well, see, that's why it was a gaff. I doubt it was actually landing at LAX. They jump cut from an external shot of LAX to the undercarriage shot of a landing B-52. (Camera under the tail shooting along the fuselage showing all 4 mains.)
