Spiderman 2
I decided to catch this tonight on my way home, and I'm glad I did. The movie seriously kicked ass.

Molina totally stole the show as Doc Ock. And the SFX people deserve a fucking award for those arms. They were *creepy*. Seriously fucking creepy! The movement, the way they twitched and 'looked' at things, the little serpentine movements. Wow, nice work.

Spidey moved a lot better in this one too - they definitely improved the physics modelling on him. In the first movie some of the movements were off, this one was much better.

Peter needs to learn how to keep his damn mask on. :-)

Woo-hoo! Dafoe! Nice little appearance, even if as just a delusion - looks like Spidey 3 (due in 2007) is going to be Green Goblin 2. I hope it means they'll have Dafoe back to play his son's delusion. He really did a great job as the goblin in the first film. His conversation with himself was creepy.

An enjoyable movie.

Loved it, yes.

Many little Sam Raimi touches, too, and one nod to Hudsucker Proxy (as there was in the first film).

John Landis. Geez. :)

wedgex's housemates were all up in the Spidey 2 shit at Sony Pictures Imageworks; hope you stayed for the credits. ;)

Someone pointed out to me that Spiderman 2 may have one of the most unique moments is marketing: the Dafoe scene is probably the first time in history a trailer for a sequel appeared in its predecessor before the closing credits.
