The Bourne Supremacy
They made a sequel to The Bourne Identity called The Bourne Supremacy, which is out July 23rd. I really enjoyed the first one, and the promos for this new one look really good. I'm looking forward to it.

Ah, it's gonna be a sweet ride!

I'm constantly suprised that, despite his looks, Matt Damon is a suprisingly good actor. He takes creepy to a whole new level sometimes. Too bad none of that talent ever rubbed off on his good buddy Ben.

I dunno about "creepy", but I was pleasantly shocked by his performance in Identity. His Bourne is so... human. (Which is more than can be said for Ludlum's. If ever there was a case for "it's nothing like the book!" not being automatically bad, it's The Bourne Identity.) I especially enjoyed his wry humor. ("How could I forget you? You're the only person I know.")

No, creepy is the right word for it, just watch The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Yeah, though it isn't actually "The Bourne Supremacy" at all, which is all David Webb searching for his kidnapped wife in Hong Kong. The titling is very Bond-like in that regard. Still, it looks like we'll get to see the rest of Manticore fallout more-or-less from the first novel.

But... it makes me wonder what they'll do when they run out of Bourne titles. There are only three.

Four now; when I was at Borders the other day I noticed that the publishers have had Eric Van Lustbader continue the series with The Bourne Legacy. Didn't pick it up, even to thumb through it, since I dislike the Bourne books quite a bit, but there you are.

And, really, how hard can it be? It's just The Bourne plus some vaguely-exciting sort of noun. I could come up with several just sitting here. The Bourne Insurrection. The Bourne Conspiracy. The Bourne Retaliation. Jason Bourne and his Intercontinental Vengeance Weapon. Jason Bourne vs. the World Crime League. Gojira tai Jeison Boruno. The possibilities are endless.

And who could forget X3: Jason Bourne vs. Wolverine?

Or, alternately, Crisis On Infinite Amnesiac Superweapons.

20th Century Croks is picking up the rights to Borne vs. Aliens vs. Preator. It's basically about him trying to remember if he's supposed to kill the Aliens or the Predators. In the end, I hear he kills both.

How about 'The Bourne Continuum' 'The Bourne Memorandum' 'The Bourne Leader' 'The Bourne Loser'?
