Ups and downs
A lot of the hellish work schedule the past few weeks has been due to the tradeshow I'm now in Florida for - and part of that was getting this website up: http://www.paycash.us/

I did the merchant stuff (compare the source for that to the source for the consumer side... I'm going to clean up the consumer stuff when I get back, it makes me itch...). There is still some work to do- more demos, a few docs, some general massaging. But I think the site is pretty good considering the crash development, which was done simultaneously with code revisions, documentation creation, creating product sheets for the show, and the usual customer support. So check out it. :-)

The flight down was uneventful. But I didn't get out of the office until almost 15:00, instead of by 14:30 as planned. So I got to the airport with barely time to make my flight. I got checked in just before they would've closed it for my flight, and got through security and to the gate 10 minutes before departure. I made it though.

But my bag, and all my clothes, didn't. It didn't make it on the plane, so they put it on another plane and it went to Miami. They're supposed to be delivering it to me, but it has been several hours and I don't have it yet. I've called a couple of times and to automatic info system says my bag was found and it is in transit. I hope I have it by morning...

And there seems to be a hurricane blowing in. It was raining like hell earlier - and it was *hot*. Weird, I went outside (I'm on the first floor and have a door outside) and it was very warm with hot rain beating down.

Well, I don't think I can wait any longer, I need to sleep.

Not just one hurricane, but two, if I remember my news stories correctly. And supposedly 2 million people have been given the evac order.

Make sure to bail if they tell you to. *wl*

No, just one hurricane. Bonnie was a tropical storm and it pretty much disappated once it hit land. We're actually seeing remnants of Bonnie this afternoon in Massachusetts.

Right now Charley (category III) is bearing down on the Tampa area.

Aha, thanks for the clarification. *wg*

Still, looks like Charley is going to really clobber the Southeast, so be careful down there. :P
