Media Collection
Over the past few weeks, as time permits, I've been scanning stuff. I've scanned most of my video collection now, my audio cassettes, and CDs - and a few of my books. I have some cleanup to do, then I'll start working my way through my books. This is it so far.

a/v totally counts.

so what you need now is a menu that lets us search by title, keyword, subject, etc. and a barcode system so we can check things out from you. whee!

Yeah - that's a static export from the PC software I'm using. There is also an XML DB of everything and I'm thinking of writing something like a PHP front end to be able to at least show more columbs of info in the list, and sort by different columns.

You know, I love the fact that it considers Red Hat 8 to be a game. ;)

And what program are you using?

I was more curious about what kind of barcode scanner. A CueCat? I actually have one of those things ... in a box somewhere in the basement.

That's pretty neat, actually! I don't have Bluetooth built in but I do have a BT USB dongle that will do until the G5 Powerbook comes out and I upgrade.

I was amused by that too.

It is a program called 'Collection 2.0' from IntelliSW.com.

Hi!

It appears that we now have a good copy of Farscape peacekeeper wars.

And thanks again for offering to resend it!
