Do I have to explain myself?

You have 150 interests listed. I'm not sure what seems "odd" because I'm not sure what the definition of "odd" is.

There are things that you don't seem very interested in anymore, but which are still listed. I find that odd.

There are some things that I don't know what they are, which makes them odd to me.

Then there are the things I know you like, but our interests are so divergent that I'd like you to explain why you like them because yours seem completely odd.

Was there a particular definition of "odd" you wanted?

At some point in the last couple months I went through and explained why I liked all of my interests. I was surprised no one else thought it was a good idea. No one even commented on it. It would be easier if you just explained your interest in everything you have listed.

But since that's obviously unreasonable to most people, how about "kallisti"?

Odd is in the eye of the beholder.

I haven't played with my interests in a while, and things tend to go in cycles. Actually there are many other things I'd list if they didn't have the hard limit.

Ah - Kallisti is a Discordian thing. It is the word that was written on the Golden Apple that Eris used to start the Trojan war. It means, roughly, 'To the fairest one.' So Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena fought over it - each taking a different meaning. In the end they picked a poor sap, Paris, to decide who got it. Aphrodite bribed him with the love of the most beautiful woman, Helen, and thus the war.

Oh. What a nice bit of story. I picked the right thing to ask about.

I'm having the opposite problem actually. My interests keep disappearing. I'm hoping it's a January phenomenon and I'll develop some lasting interests.
