Goddamn it, I said DO OVER!
My day continued...

My headache got bad enough that I couldn't look at my screen so I gave up. It was just after 7, so I figured I could hit Suncoast at Solomon Pond for the Ghibli films, then shoot over the Cingular on Route 9 to see about my Treo. Suncoast was successful, and I managed to cut over the back roads to Cingular. They close at 20:00, and I got there at 19:50 - plenty of time to walk in and see if I could just swap the phone and leave.

Except they'd decided to close early and lock up. When I pulled on the door and it didn't open the guy inside just looked at me, and went back to whatever he was doing. Sure, I've worked retail in the past, and it is nice to get out right away. And I've started my shutdown early - but locking up before closing time pisses me off. So, denied. I did find that if I squeeze the left side of the Treo the digitizer works - so I think something is loose. But I don't want to open it to see if I can fix it, lest I void the warranty.

OK, so I'm denied, and I still haven't fed. I thought about Chili's - but my head was pounding and I decided I'd just pick up something and go home. Hmm... KFC. Yeah, suddenly I had a craving for KFC, and there is one at White City on the way home. Perfect!

They're closed. Just after 20:00. WTF?! I didn't see any signs saying they were permanently closed or anything, but it was dark, lights off, and I just drove around the building. So I ended up picking up Burger King instead.

Excedrin and food helped dull the throb. I'm going to crash soon.

Ugh, bad luck sucks.

I don't have a 650 yet, but a friend has one. I'm looking forward to picking one up.

Yeah, I think that particular Col. Taco bit the big one, at least in the short term. It was closed midafternoon last week when I hit Shaw's. No signs or anything, just closed.
