An entry by kyrene took me to this entry in adult_pagans. Could it be a little more breathless?

jehanna - read it and twitch. ;-)

I am: hungry hungry
Current Media: quiet

I wish I could say it was atypical. Sigh.

There's so much there I can't even *begin.*

ADF, despite kyrene's good intentions, might cause that girl to have a serious brainfart. They have Actual Study Requirements. And homework. And they actually read things over than Silver Ravenwolf. ;)

Oh my frigging Goddess. I have young kids on my teen Wiccan group who can punctuate and capitalize. What is this person's major malfunction?

I think instead of studying to be a Druid she should first study to be an adult.

Also, I'm getting a little tired of the Eternal September effect taking over the Pagan communities. Time, in my opinion, to start telling the noobs to JFGI.

Oh, but that would be work! Religion isn't work! It's Whatever You Think It Should Be!

(Also, can the Eternal September stop afflicting Pagan publishing in dead-tree markets as well? I'd like, just once, to find a book that addressed Pagan topics without having five pages of "we're not Satanists, we're not evil, we don't sacrifice animals, children, or rolls of chain-link fencing, blah blah" to kick it all off. I'm past the point where I feel a need to disclaim what I do to all and sundry, can my literature catch up?)

I sacrificed a roll of chain-link fencing once. It was a wicked rush.

I know, the Llwellyn effect of 101 book flooding does take it's toll. I'm actually writing a book myself (that's going to be on my tombstone I swear) and I'm struggling with the question of whether to add 101 type content into it. It's going to be for teenage girls, also having problems setting the right tone between presenting serious topics for contemplation and entertaining the MTV mindset at the same time.

You seem pretty cool. Glad to know that LJ has some serious Pagan students along with the flood of seekers.
