I read that. Very heartening. But one of the points they make is that the commercial anime community is essentially performance-based: they put out new stuff that the fans pay for, and then the fans expect more new stuff. A perpetual revenue stream based upon existing content is a bit of an alien concept for most anime houses.

I caught that article too. I knew there was a reason I loved ADV. It also seems that maybe the Live Action Eva isn't dead after all.

Now if the other media companies would catch a clue...and not Mr. Chu.

Who's surprised?

I just want to know when ADV or somebody else is going to get around to licensing Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen but I could only get fansubs and the downloading procedures were so onerous I finally gave up.

I think AN Entertainment has already licensed it for domestic distribution.
