The law of inverse value is the saddest and truest thing there.

There needs to be two ER systems. One for wastes of meat, and one for useful people. (I volunteer to do the triage.)

I really wish my county health system didn't *require* me to go to the ER to get to urgent care. I'm almost never emergent with my retinal issues, it's a waste of the triage nurse's time, it's a waste of my time when I could just go to urgent care and get an appointment. (Hell, it's a waste of urgent care's time too-- they can't do anything for me and they just wind up wasting a doctor's time to personally escort me to the ophtho clinic, where I sit for another six hours waiting.)
