The Ramblings of a Damaged Mind
I spent a good part of this evening between two sexy librarians.

Tonight after work I met up with mere, jediseth, and mere's co-worker Sarah (not sure if she has an LJ) at Friday's at Solomon Pond Mall. We caroused for a while and then headed over to the theater for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. ARRRRRR! It was a blast, I had a lot of fun. Of course, the whole movie is really a setup for next year's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Still a blast and worth seeing, I had a great time! I left the movie totally keyed up, just sorry it was so late and there was nothing to do. :-) It was nice meeting Sarah too, she seems like a cool person. Oh, and if you see it, stay through the credits. :-)

The only downside was that I was so energized that I let out a bellowing whoop as I blasted across the I290 bridge over Lake Quinsigamond and I think I strained my vocal chords or something, my throat feels a little weird and my voice is slightly off. Oh well. :-)

This weekend I also hope to see A Scanner Darkly.

Honey water, as hot as you can can take it, with a squeeze of lemon...

I'm waiting for 'A Scanner Darkly' to open here. Or maybe it has, movies can have a very short run here. Unless they're Disney. :)
Have you heard of 'The Gene Generation'. Directed by a Singaporean woman. What one of the locals here think about it -> pic and opinion.

I have honey and water, don't think I have lemon. :-)

Scanner just opened here tonight, so I don't think it has hit you yet unless they did a global opening tonight. That's been happening more and more.

They actually didn't some research on this (!) and found that plain hot water cleared up coughs and sore throats best. Faster even than medication. :)

Thanks, I'll look out for Scanner. Singapore has global openings for James Bond movies. We definitely didn't get one for Sin City. I was surprised it even opened here, but apparently we are getting more international in our outlook. So we have Crazy Horse from Paris, adult movies and a casino coming. Isn't it interesting what out govt think other countries culture is? :)

Mm, yeah. Lemme know if you head in to the Kendall for some hot Dick action. We'll totally meet you there.

Wow, I didn't realize A Scanner Darkly got such a limited release. I kind of assumed it'd be playing someplace closer than Cambridge - I wonder if it'll spread, or what. Pirates is on so many screens maybe it wasn't the best day to open...

I still want to see it.
