Ralph's makes a cameo appearance
I'm watching the first episode of Feasting on Asphalt, Alton Brown's special mini-series on Food Network, and while talking about diners at almost exactly 17 minutes in, there is a pan over a B&W photo of the "Chadwick Square Diner" - aka Ralph's. I just got a laugh out of the little cameo. And then the diner they visit in Savannah, GA is a 1938 Streamliner Diner manufactured by the Worcester Car Company, of Worcester, MA. :-) There's a thank you to the Worcester Historical Society at the end.

I watched that episode, but I guess not being from the area the reference was lost on me?

I'm liking the show so far. Maybe at the end when they make it to California, I'll be able to see something that I recognize.

Your subject line made me blink- one of the local grocery chains out here is Ralph's.
