Yes, yes it is. I might actually want to watch Evangelion, finally, despite the fact that, like Neal Stephenson's books, it lacks an

It has more of one than a few others I can think of. Or rather more than a WTH is this kind. I'm talking about you, Shin Getter Robo (2005).

Hmm, yes, yes. Definitely a good video. But I think Lyrical On Fire gives it competition on 'best EVER.' (Scarily, this does not in any way shape of form misrepresent this series...)

Good old Rubyeye. I actually prefer his Master of the Wind video. But Tenth Man Down is NICE.

Okay, I've geeked on it. I've actually taught myself how to convert from FLV to MPG so I could slow down the video and catch all of the one-frame shots, I've tried to download other things Rammstein has done (and been disappointed; is the masterful techno/metal mix in the middle of Engel something they've never been able to match or approach again?) and have found a place near my house that still rents Eva videos.

Damn you, Zoner, for turning me on to more good stuff!

More things to occupy your copious free time. ;-)

I'm not sure about Rammstein - their two big hits, in the US, were Engel and Du Hast. I've only heard a few other of their songs.

I really need to watch Death & Rebith, and End of Evangelion (the movies) - I own them but haven't watched them yet.

And checking Wikipedia I see Gainax just recently announced they're making FOUR MORE Evangelion films for release in 2007 and 2008. 1-3 will be yet another retelling of the basic story, and 4 will be a new conclusion.
