Meat, oh, and sushi
So I just pulled into Denny's and I see that there is a Kyoto opening across the street in Lincoln Plaza soon.

Kyoto is a Japanese steakhouse/seafood/sushi chain. Decent from when I've been to others in the past.

I'm not a big sushi person - since I can't stand seafood I only do veggie sushi. We normally end up at Fugakyu Cafe in Sudbury or Sakura Tokyo in Worcester. I've also been to Osaka in White City in Shrewsbury.

You're the 2nd person to mention Osaka to me; the other one said it was good but I've never been there.

I should try the place!

I tend to find a small no. of restaurants that I decide I like, and I stick to those until they give me reason to change. This is fine, but the trouble is I never end up going to new places. I figure, why risk a bad meal when I already know where to go, etc.

Yeah, that sign went up sometime this week. Should be a good new landmark for Denny's.

Sushi for Lincoln Plaza seems too classy. Heck Ruby Tuesdays seems too classy for Lincoln Plaza. My mom disapproves of my sister and I even going to the Denney's. She thinks we will get shot. On a related note, have you ever noticed that no matter what time you go to Denney's there is a always a baby there? Like it could be 1 AM and there will still be a baby there.

Lincoln Plaza is cleaning up well - I remember when it was pretty run down with the old cinema and all. But now with Target, Lowe's, Bob's, et al, it is a pretty nice shopping plaza. Lot's of new places to eat too - 5 & Diner, Ruby Tuesday's, Papa Gino's, etc.

The area isn't as nasty as it was 15 years ago.

I actually rarely see a baby in Denney's - but it seems like most of the time I go there, there is some kind of altercation between some drunks.

I saw Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Toy Story at that theater. It wasn't that bad inside. That CVS was the skeeviest one ever when I lived down there, though.

... Well, OK, to be fair, I saw Toy Story like seven times in theaters all over Metro West, because I kept running across people I knew who hadn't been to it yet and didn't want to see it alone.

I adore Target. In the movie Breakfast at Tiffiny's (sp?) she goes to tiffiny's to cure her mean reda, Target is my Tiffiny's. Sometimes I just go there to walk around. It cheers me right up.
