You know how movies and photos always use '555' phone exchanges to avoid stepping on a real phone number? They need something like that for domain names. When they pull a .com, .net, etc, out of their ass they sometimes step on a real domain. And when they don't, those domains get grabbed in seconds - sometimes by jokers, but often by spammers and such. Or they whip out something like BootyBoys.bz - which was the domain of interest on tonight's Law & Order. I'm thinking "Dot BZ? That sounds like a real TLD..." Yep, that's Belize. And no, the domain isn't active... yet. Maybe they should just use .tld for domains - it won't step on anything and it is an injoke.
