“Hello! I just went to see "Get Smart", finally, and, uh, it's actually really cool. I actually laughed quite a bit. I literally laughed out loud several times, uh, as opposed to just typing LOL. So it's actually worth seeing if you want to see a pretty decent comedy, and it wasn't a lot of stupid humor. (ED. NOTE: There follows some disparagement of the standard of humor in modern comedies generally, a disclaimer about a couple of instances of toilet humor, mentions of cameos and injokes, etc.) Worth seeing if you're a fan of the old show. (ED. NOTE: He goes on to describe how he effectively got his ticket for $0.50 thanks to some kind of coupon that came with a direct-to-video companion piece to the film, then discusses his dinner plans.) Post later, go see the movie. Several good movies lately, actually. "Wanted", "WALL-E", "Get Smart"... Think I need to go see, uh, "Hancock" next. Maybe... maybe tomorrow. Bye!”

I was excited about Hancock until I read the reviews. The consensus appears to be that the first half of the movie is good.

On the flip side, Kung-Fu Panda allegedly is surprisingly fun.

I haven't seen either yet, myself.

I saw Kung-Fu Panda a few weeks ago. It is, indeed, fun. It is a straight-up martial arts film with animated animals.
